New comet to be visible to naked eye for several days

For the next few days, a green tinted comet that was newly discovered will be visible to the naked eye in most parts of the Northern Hemisphere. It is called Comet Lulin, it was discovered in 2007, and this is the first time it will go through our solar system, and probably the last as well. As it makes it's way around the Sun, it will shed 800 gallons of water per second. That is enough to fill an Olympic swimming pool, every 15 minutes. It will come within 38 million miles of Earth, so you can see it, and mroe clearly with a pair of binoculars, or a telescope.

I think that this is pretty interesting. The fact that it will shed all of that water is extremely interesting, as is seeing a new comet, of course.
