20,000 Californian state workers may lose their jobs

On Tuesday, California announced that they are about to lay off 20,000 workers. The cuts will start at the beginning of the fiscal year, July 1. The announcement was made by a spokesman Arnold Schwarzenegger, California's governor. This came after California lawmakers voted down a budget worth US$40 billion last weekend.

I do not think this is good, as I don't like to fire that many people. However, we are in some tough times now, and some jobs need to be cut, so, it needs to be done.
