American actor Dom Deluise dies at age 75, on May 4, 2009, after a lengthy battle with cancer. He was known for his roles in Mel Brooks movies, such as Blazing Saddles, The Twelve Chairs, Silent Movie, and Spaceballs, as well as co-starring in multiple films with other famous actor Burt Reynolds, such as The Cannonball Run, Cannonball Run II, The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas, and The End. He was also an avid chef, having written two cookbooks.
He was a good actor, and he will be missed. He shall live on though, through his movies.
